The Arizona Lottery funded a variety of beneficiaries throughout the state in FY08. The Lottery returned more than $144.5 million to State programs that help make Arizona a better place to live.
Since the Lottery's inception in 1981, more than $2 billion has been returned to programs that support wildlife preservation, parks, public health, education, and transportation.

The Arizona Lottery makes no direct grants; all Lottery proceeds are distributed to beneficiaries according to statute. Agencies administer
grants as part of their Lottery funding including the Heritage Fund and the Local Transportation Assistance Fund (LTAF). To request information
about the application process, please contact the Grants and Program Manager at Arizona State Parks or the Environmental Education Program
Manager at the Game and Fish Department. For information on LTAF grants, contact your City/Town Manager's Office.
