PHOENIX (Oct. 31, 2011) — The annual Millionaire Raffle will launch Tuesday, Nov. 1, offering 1,147 cash prizes, including a $1 million top prize.
Early Bird tickets will be sold until midnight, Wednesday, Nov. 30. Players who purchase a Millionaire Raffle ticket prior to the Early Bird deadline will receive a free Powerball ticket and a chance to win one of 20 $5,000 prizes. All Early Bird winners will remain eligible for the final cash prizes.
“Millionaire Raffle is our most popular seasonal game,” said Kim McGlothlen, director of advertising and marketing for the Arizona Lottery. “We sold out last year and expect to sell out again this year. With only 300,000 tickets available, we encourage players to get their tickets early so they don’t miss out on their chance to win.”
Tickets for the Arizona Lottery’s seventh annual Millionaire Raffle are $20 each and can be purchased at any local Arizona Lottery retailer. Only 300,000 tickets will be sold, providing players with some of the best odds to win $1 million. The tickets will be sold in sequential order and sales will stop once the final ticket has been sold.
In addition to the $1 million top prize and the 20 Early Bird prizes of $5,000, the Millionaire Raffle will award six $100,000 prizes, 40 $10,000 prizes, 750 $1,000 prizes and 350 $500 prizes.
