GIVE SOMETHING EVERYONE WILL LOVE:

50 Million Dollar Money Mania Winner

A young Yuma resident put $10 into an Arizona Lottery Instant Ticket Vending Machine and purchased one $50 Million Money Mania Scratchers ticket.  He took the ticket outside to scratch it and couldn’t believe what he saw – he’d won one of six $1,000,000 top prizes.

He immediately drove home and showed the ticket to his dad, who also had a hard time believing it was real.  It was his dad who told him to sign the back of the ticket right away as a safety feature.  As soon as he had the time, our winner and his family drove to Phoenix to redeem his winning ticket.

Since he was given the choice of taking the annuity or cash option, he selected the cash option of a one-time, lump-sum payment of $625,000. He only plays Scratchers and has not told anyone outside of his immediate family about his win. He plans to continue working and may consider going back to school. With regard to his winnings, he plans to purchase a house and save the rest.

The winning ticket was purchased at Barney’s #39, 2381 S. Ave. B, Yuma.
