When I was a child, before our Thanksgiving meal was served, we would each share something for which we were thankful. If you couldn’t come up with something quickly, every other person at the table glared — you were holding up the feast!
If the Lottery had a Thanksgiving table—with seating for our 100 employees—we’d all know what to mention. We’re grateful for our players, who generously share their stories of playing—and winning—with us. We’re grateful for our beneficiaries, who are wise stewards of the funding the Lottery provides and are making a difference in every community across our beautiful state. And we’re especially grateful for our retailers. For many players, our 2700 retailers are the face of the Lottery. They sell our products, pay our winners, and take the time to explain how to play our games. Without our retailers, there would be no Lottery.
On behalf of the entire Lottery team, I’d like to extend our best wishes to you and your family this Thanksgiving. We invite you to take a moment to think about what—or who—you are most grateful for. And hold onto that thought, just in case you get asked to Thanksgiving dinner!
